This 1950s brochure promoted Banner Lodge as an adult playground in the countryside. The resort was the most popular vacation destination in the state from the 1930s to 1970s.
Adults Came to Banner Lodge for "Fun in the Sun"
This early 1940s brochure for Ted Hilton's Elm Camp reflected a period of growing popularity for Moodus Resorts. Hilton's became the second biggest resort in town after Banner Lodge. Hilton bought Elm Camp in 1927 and began to build facilities and promote the resort to vacationers throughout the region.
