Positive Moodus memories

I was delighted to see your site. My late husband & I and our children spent many wonderful summers at Weiners in Moodus with our friends Dorothy and Norman Samuels. The Weiners were a fine family. Norman was the brother of Pearl Weiner. We were so upset when we saw what happened to the town. My memories of Moodus are very positive. We had grand times there.

After Pearl and Milt died, their 4 children moved to Pennsylvania to live with their aunt and uncle. Does anyone know where they are now? I vacationed there for several years as a young child. I remember the counselors, square dancing, kids putting on a show, the good food, the noisey kids dining area, and then as a teenager went to the adult dining area but sat at a table with other teenagers. My parents remember late nights on the porch where Milt would tell funny yiddish stories, bringing out coffee and dessert.
